We Are Pakistanis First

Quaid-i-Azam said,

"We are Muslims believe in one Allah, one Prophet (peace be upon him) and one Quran. So it is also essential for us to be one nation because strength lies in unity. Pakistan will break into pieces if we consider ourselves as Punjabis, Sindhis, etc. first and then Muslims and Pakistanis. We all are now Pakistanis, not Balochis, not Pathans, not Sindhis, not Punjabis."

"Whatever we feel or do should be only as Pakistanis. Everybody should love h is village, his town and his city and should work hard for its development. However, it is more important to love our country than our city or town. We should work much harder for the sake of our country."

カイディアザム（パキスタンの建国の父)は、私達に語りかけます。

我われは、唯一つのアッラー、唯一の預言者、唯一のコーランを信じるモスリム（イスラム教徒）です。また、我われにとって大事なことは、強い絆で結ばれたパキスタンという一つの国の国民であるということです。我われが、我われ自身をパンジャブ人、シンド人、等と考えれいれば、パキスタンはバラバラになってしまいます。第一に、モスリムであり、パキスタン人なのです。
今、我われは、パキスタン人なのであって、バローチでもパターンでもシンドでもパンジャブでもないのです。

我われは、パキスタン人として感じ、行動すべきです。だれでも自分の村、町を愛していますし、その発展のために尽くすべきです。しかしながら、自身の町よりも我われの国を愛することが大事なのです。我われの国のためにもっと力を尽くさねばなりません

Quaid-i-Azam (leader of the Nation) Muhammad Ali Jinnah is the founder of Pakistan

Mohammad Ali Jinnah was born on December 25th, 1876 in Karachi. He came from a family of Gujarati Khoja Muslims. His father was a small businessman, but he managed to go to England to study and was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn. By the turn of the century he was a successful lawyer and built a lucrative practice in Bombay. An early member of the Congress Party and "Ambassador of Hindu-Muslim Unity," he later parted ways with Gandhi and Nehru and worked for independent homeland for the Muslims of British India.

カイディ・アザムは１８７６年１２月２５日生まれ。彼の父はビジネスマンだった。彼はイギリスで弁護士なり、後年パキスタンがインドから独立する為に尽力した。

Muhammad Ali received his early education at the Sindh Madrasa and later at the Mission School, Karachi. He went to England for further studies in 1892 at the age of 16.

Pakistan, one of the largest Muslim states in the world, is a living and exemplary monument of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. With his untiring efforts, indomitable will, and dauntless courage, he united the Indian Muslims under the banner of the Muslim League and carved out a homeland for them, despite stiff opposition from the Hindu Congress and the British Government.

ISLAMABAD, Dec 24 2004: The National will celebrate the 128th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Saturday with great enthusiasm and national spirit.
The Day has been announced a public holiday. The National flag will fly at all Principal Government buildings throughout the country.
The Day will dawn with special prayers in mosques for the soul of Quaid-e-Azam.

今日は、パキスタンの休日です。国内のすべての主要な政府庁舎で国旗が掲揚されます。
